About Tic Tac Toe
Tic Tac Toe, also called noughts and crosses, is played on a 3×3 grid. You are X and the computer is O. Take turns placing your mark, and the first player to get three in a row horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. On Easy the computer makes mistakes; on Hard it plays perfectly, so a draw is a good result.
How to play
- You always play X and move first.
- Click or tap an empty square to place your mark.
- Get three in a row to win the round.
Tips
- Start in a corner: it gives the opponent the most ways to go wrong.
- Always block the computer when it has two in a row.
- Try to create two threats at once (a fork).
